Truck is very dirty. But still looks better than with textured flares.

Truck looks great. What is the difference between the OEM and PTM? Just curious. Mine is an XLT and I keep on thinking I'd like to add the flares for looks.

That looks much better.
That was one of the first mods I did to my 2011 FX4. This time around I got a '14 w/appearance pkg. so it came with PTM flares.

What I removed was the OEM textured, kinda a chacoal/blackish color. These are OEM PTM (Paint To Match) and smooth. Looks like the body. And so much nicer.

I was gonna go with the appearance package as well, when I was ordering mine last year. Love the outside look, but at that time, I couldn't seem to tune into the extra black interior trim and red trimmed seats.


So my best option was PTM flares.

Where did you get the PTM flares? Is there a vendor who is selling them?

Found them on Kijiji. THey were take offs. One of the members here tipped me off to them. Keep looking and eventually you will find them.
