Enabling DRLs on 2013 FX4 causes interior lights to flash?

Ford Customer Service
Hey Crystal, I'd like to say that charging someone $100 to enabled DRLs is freakin' ludicrous. I know that's a decision the dealers make, but still, it's bull crap. It takes longer to pull the truck into a bay than it does to actually reprogram the LCM.
We're Ford customers, and we shouldn't be raked over the coals for something this easy to do, not to mention safety-related. I'd rather buy the programmer itself than give Ford money to do this for me.

Did you recently have this experience at your dealership? Please shoot me a PM with your name, best contact number, VIN, and dealership information; I'll document your feedback.

I know this is an old thread but I recently had Discount Tire put my 2010 Harley Edition F150 into "Disco Mode" aka interior lights flashing. Apparently they found a way to put my SJB into manufacture mode when they plugged their TPMS reset tool into my OBDII port. As of right now I have flashing interior lights, no key fob function, flashing and a still flashing TPMS light which is why I brought it to Discount tire in the first place. Key fobs cannot program and TPMS can't be taught using the air release method most likely because my SJB is in "Disco Mode". It looks like I'll be handing over some cash to the dealer for something a 13 year old could fix with the right tool and instruction set.
