Forgive my spelling and picture placement as I am doing this from my iphone..

Ok for the how to...

First order em

Second decide to paint or not to paint.... Ok now for the good stuff

You need a proper work space so get a bath rug or something soft...your wife wont mind don't wanna scratch those new flares. Identify the flare by the sticker..place it up on the truck to see what your working with... Use the supplied alcohol wipes on the flare to attach the rubber trim to the flare. Then attach the rubber trim. Be mindful here because you want the black trim to look even and flat on the truck as well as provide maximum protection from vibration.

Atach the top three brackets to the flare and use heavy duty tape to hold them to the flare. This will make install much easier.. Once installed the tape isnt necessary but it helps a lot if you are doing this alone.

Clean the around where the flares will be before you put em on and remove the three or four ford bolts the hold the oem wheel well liner on.

On the front flares, depending on your model year you will either use an EGR supplied plastic push pin at the top of the wheel well or the oem bolt on older trucks. The newer trucks use a plastic push pin (there is a hole in the liner already) the older trucks will have to use the oem bolt that holds the wheel well liner to the fender. Start at the top because it will hold the flare up and allow you to manipulate the rest . All brackets attach to the wheel well liner, clips attach to the wheel well' and a ford oem bolt attaches at the bottom rear.

Keep an eye on the rubber trim as you attach the brackets and clips. Make sure it doesn't buckle up or roll over and that it stays uniform because It really cant be fixed without taking the whole flare back off again. Just make sure it is straight before you tighten the flare down. See pics of the brackets and clips.

For anyone like me with aftermarket rugged wheel well liners on the rear this works fine with them. The rear is easier than the front as it is held on only by clips around the wheel well. These clips aren't going anywhere and there really isnt anywhere to bolt into anything since ford no longer provides wheel well liners stock.

I was surprised about the clips only on the rear but they are solid in fact some go into a grove in the sheet metal around the wheel well. Keeping them in place.

The EGRs also go with the contour of the body on the exterior so it helps to keeps them in the right spot.

They look great. I think you convinced me. I've got more then 1/4" sticking out, especially in the front. They look like they would cover the tread that sticks out, but still leave some of the side wall outside the flare for a fuller look.
