Default So What Do You Tow?

So these trucks are supposed to be great at towing but I don't see too many pictures here of what everyone tows. I want to buy a boat in the next couple of years and will for sure pull it with my F150. Would love to see some tow rigs; whether it is a boat or not.

Also, from what I understand my 10 Screw with 3.55 and the short bed, will tow 9600lb max? That sound right? It has the 7200GVWR package. Got the towing number from Ford's website.

I may need to remove the 2.5in leveling kit I put on if the rear sags too much. Not much info I could find on towing with leveling kits. Guess it would depend on the weight of what I'm towing obvisouly. Thought about adding some of the airbags to help out. Maybe someone will have experience and suggestions with this. But, I have a year or two to figure it all out.

So, show what you tow........

I tow a 26 foot Jayco travel trailer. It probably weighs around 6,000 when it's all geared up for a trip. My truck pulls it easily.

I've towed our mustang from Connecticut to Indiana and back with no problems. Total weight was about 6000 lbs.

You have the 5.4 engine and 6 speed? You'll be able to pull a pretty good size boat pretty easily.

I tow my 21' Baja thru the Ozark hills with NO problems, total weight of the rig is around 5,500 pounds. I've got the 3.73:1 axle. The truck is a phenomenal puller.

I just got back from my weekend camping trip, we pull a 23 foot trailer. The trailer was one of the main reasons for buying the F150. It tows like a dream, plenty of power and extremely comfortable. No sway and stops on a dime.

Had a 2005 Pathfinder before and it was really scary towing our trailer. Finally decided one short trip that I would never pull the trailer with the Nissan again.

Easily towing a 26" Ebbtide, around 7500#, depending on how much gas is in the 110 gal. tank.
