Default Ecoboost teardown

I watched the video(s) of the tear down. The block looks like a diesel crossed with a gm ls9 racing block. I like the idea of using the windage tray as a main girdle. Moly coated piston skirts very nice. I did not see into the intake runners to see if there was any valve deposit build up. I would have loved to have been there. I believe this would make a good low horsepower diesel its built so well. At least better than the old GM diesels. I wonder what the aftermarket will do to get more power out of it. I'm guessing the baja crew for got to take off the B&M filter off the waist gate.

ya thanks for the post of the videos. after watching this i wish i would of wated and got a eco boost. looks like another home run for ford!

thanks for posting the links to the videos. Sure they will be on the ford website soon, but that was almost a 45 minute show in 3 segments.

The guys tearing the engine down sure did have clean hands..........

That was the cleanest oil I have seen also.
