The start up noise is the same as mine. It sounds like the vacuum pump is going. Maybe I'm wrong but it sounds like a pump

Well got word from the dealer and they are replacing the timing chain tensioner. He said it's bad an thats what's causing the noise and tick. Should they replace the chain also? Or is that okay?

I'll talk to them about it this afternoon. They have a truck tore down and I want to look at it. Just tell them that everyone says the chain stretches?

They can only do what Ford approves. If they dont do it now they will be doing it again.
These engines stretch chains. If your lucky (like you were) you get it fixed before its a bigger problem.
The noise you hear is the tensioner no longer being able to do it job cause the chain is out of spec.

I read another thread here a while ago they insisted it was phasers and turned out to be chains. Had to do the job twice

They had to tear mine apart twice. Wanted to stick me with the full bill for the second tear down. The second video shows how loose my chain was. There is nothing wrong with the tensioner, they never replaced mine. Replace the chain. It's $140 list and close to $80 on Taska. I'd offer to buy the chain if they will match the Tasca price.

If at all possible, try to get a picture comparing the existing vs new lengths. We don't have any documentation showing how much the chains are stretching.
