Done it again last monday. This time the tow haul light came on. I had to reach down and shut it off feather the throttle until the motor started running normal. Going to ford this week I will keep everyone updated. Until then ecoboost owners pass with care!

I'm getting about 17.5 to 19mpg with my 5.0. I just dont think the extra 2-4mpg more is worth dealing with a freaking turbo. I think it sounds like a good idea in theory, but turbos are for sports cars. Plus, you cant beat the sound of that 5.0!

Amazing the amount of people who own or have owned a diesel, bash the EB because it has turbos. Makes no sense. And the 5.0 towing is about the same as the EB, both are going to drink th gas. But at least th EB doesnt take a back seat to th Hemi

If the turbo goes you'll probably see plenty of smoke come from the tailpipe - just think of how bad the smoke is when the Ecoboosts are first started.
It sounds like a fuel pressure problem, I think another person on this site had the HPFP go bad on them which gave about the same symptoms
