I want to remove the front plate bracket on my 2014 Ecoboost. First I need to find the part number for the Black plastic replacement bumper pad for the driver-side front.

Anyone done this yet? I'm sure someone has. Information will be appreciated.

OEM Ford F-150 License Plate Delete Bracket - Blank Panel 9L3Z17E810B

It's cheap at Rock auto and looks great.

Did you do that yourself? How did you go about removing the original EB licenses plate mount and adding the replacement bumper pad? I want to do the same thing.

You just snap out the license plate bracket. It's kind of hard to do without breaking a clip or two, but it will come out. Then you just snap the replacement "bread loaf" into place.

shortride - Have you bought the license plate delete kit yet? I have a 2012 5.0 Lariat and would like to trade you for your Ecoboost license plate side mount.

I didn't have to buy the kit. Some here had an extra driver-side pad. The E.B. license plate mount came off just like was stated. I broke one of the retainer tabs in the process of removing the E.B. mount.

Do you still have the one you removed? With it having a broken clip would still be able to be installed with a new clip?

I would think it will still work just fine. You can have it if you send me your mailing address by way of a P.M.

I should pay it forward like the nice member that gave me his front bumper pad.
