My pops goes "Drive it until it blows up... That's what a warranty is for." haha, love it.

Normally I'd agree. But since you're moving away, it's probably a good idea to make sure everything is a-ok before going. I had to get emergency brake rotor work done on my truck halfway to California this summer because the shimmy got so bad it made my hands numb. 2 brand new rotors and labour, $400 later. 25,000 miles at the time.

It sounds like every other ecoboost I have ever heard.

Mine has been great but I can assure you this would be my first and last ford if it goes sour.

Boost :)
I certainly can't say what it is, but I'm pretty sure I can tell you what it isn't.
1. If it were a rod or bearing issue, the noise would be consistent with RPM and not random like what it appears to be in the video. It would also get progressively louder and faster. You would also be able to tell there is something missing or having an issue in the performance department as well.
2. Turbo's do not make the noise you are describing and what it seems I am hearing, especially just at idle. When turbo bearings go, oil will be spewing out of the exhaust and you would have a performance issue as well. If there was something wrong with either the compressor or exhaust wheels, you would be able to hear that as well and they would make a screeching or screaming noise. In my 15 years of experience with turbocharged vehicles, I can almost guarantee that it is not a turbo problem, but of course don't want to say 100% for sure
If you do not feel any performance differences and the power is still smooth and you don't notice any hiccups or strange stumbles and of course no warning lights or problems in the dash, then I would venture to say that it is not an engine internal or mechanical problem. Like I said, I certainly can't say for sure what it is, but in my opinion, it doesn't seem to be anything that would require major mechanical work to solve.
