Default Ecoboost Knocking Video... any ideas?
Get out to drop my dog off this morning and immediately notice a different sound.... Supposed to drive this thing 1870 miles next week to move... In the vid there is a loud TAP TAP at around 10 seconds. That is the noise I am referring to.

Sounds normal to me. Is the truck fully warmed up or a cold start?

I assume its the turbo's noise. I have this type of ticking sound. Check your exhaust, is there any noticeable change from the white smoke on start up?

lol... it is very hard to hear for me on this work computer right now. It seems to be irregular and there really isn't a pattern to it.

I don't have white smoke on start up... at least I have never noticed it.
