Getting rid of my beloved King Ranch
Well I did it. I ordered a Ruby Red Special Edition Raptor, loaded with every option available (even Ruby Red cost more, geez!).
When it gets closer to the delivery date of the new Raptor, then I will either sell my King Ranch privately or trade it in but it's gone.
Got:
2014 Raptor SCREW
Ruby Red
801A Luxury Package
Moonroof
Hood Graphics
SVT SE Package
Front Camera
Tailgate Step
Bed Extender
Spray-in Liner
Tonneau Cover
And will eventually probably jump ship and switch over to the fordraptorforum.com as my daily forum fix but still come here occasionally. So far everyone has been great here...well perhaps not some others but I won't mention names.

Congrats, I'm sure you will love it dearly. When she comes in give us a report on the ride/ ownership differences between the two.
My '13 FX4, has every option possible with the FX group, had same MSRP, give or take $200 as the '13 Raptor sitting on the showroom floor. It was hard not to go with the Raptor, but the biggest difference was the dealer was motivated to sell me the FX.
He made it clear the Raptors are MSRP only. I also don't think I could have lived with the 6.2 mpg on a daily level.
Thought it was funny though, my dealer said to me "The FX is like 80% a Raptor anyway"

Yep, those come with the Special Edition package. The dealer said he has already taken about 20 Raptor orders for 2014 but I was the first one that has ordered an SE there. I am on the fence of sticking with the Ruby Red or switch it to Tuxedo black. You can only get the SE package with Ruby Red or Tuxedo black. They said I can change the color all the way up to before the build date.
Now I just wait and wait.....

MSRP was $59,975. I ended up getting $449 over invoice. Couldn't pass it up. Every dealer local to me wouldn't budge off MSRP (well one said they would give me $100 off MSRP and 5 free oil changes...go fly a kite!). Getting out of state so have to travel for delivery but the savings is worth it plus I save about $1000 on sales tax (got that all figured out before hand with my accountant).

I don't think I've ever seen a Ruby Red Raptor! Be sure to post pics when you get it! I am officially jealous!
