I don't own mine yet, but yes...it is relocated to the front right (when looking at the truck head-on). I will deal with it..and it will be easy to pick one out on the road now because no one else would probably have it off-set like that!

Wow - that looks weird!! Any chance Ford knew that design would be needed ever since releasing this body style for 2009? A lot of folks in the past have discussed why Ford left that huge hole in the front of the truck...maybe this was why??

Dealbreaker! Here in Ohio front plates are required, and you will look like a fool with ur plate like that.

If something like that is a "deal breaker" I doubt you where ever really serious about purchasing one anyway.

I actually like it. Everybody is always trying to give a new truck it's own personality... and now the factory is helping you out.

I don't see why they couldn't just drop it down under that opening instead of off to the side. The other thing a lot of people do in VA (where front is required) is put it into the window... some police hassle you about it, some don't.

I think if they dropped it down that would be the easier solution... I'm sure there are more complex solutions (license plate cover that routes the air around it, duct underneath that flows air up to the intercooler, relocate the intercooler, etc...)

Just seems like there could be an easy way to "fix" this.
