Obviously the truck yes, the engine not necessarily. Plodding through the related videos shows the red baja f150 ecoboost from the big durability test -sounds exactly the same to me.

The sound of that thing kind of reminds me of some of the 4bt cummins swaps I've seen, albeit a little more "wound".

I beleive the engines are supposed to be pretty well stock for the torture test, but i'm sure the exhaust is prolly complete straights no cats mufflers or anything. I was planning on getting one and doing a 3in cat back to start and keep working my way forward as i get braver and braver lol. i think the 3in would really help with p'd off 4 banger sound. Def. do an air intake system.

Most turbo motors if you want to here the turbo under throttle and off throttle a free flowing intake is the way to go.

Exhaust makes the turbo noticeable under little to medium acceleration a off throttle like in the video.

Here is a video of a car with and with out intake silencers.

If it was a diesel equipped truck, it is a whole 'nother animal since diesels have no throttle....just a wide open intake at all times. Makes for a completely different overall sound, the much-higher compression adds to the difference, too.

I finally got to take a new EB for a spin today. I must have bad ears, because I couldn't hear any turbo whistling at all. The EB is very quiet, I will be one of the first in line for any aftermarket exhaust and Intake for this beast.
