Well for me as far as sound goes I like quiet BUT I am willing to deal with some louder systems if it's worth the swap. For 35 hp and 70 tq, I'll be under there tonight swapping it lol.

Seems like aftermarket is mostly focused on 4" exhaust kits
Back in the day you didn't want your exhaust too big because you lost too much back pressure and it robbed HP.
Is this not the case with the EB engine?

I think 3-3.5" is mostly what i have seen. Full race / stainless works i believe use 3.5 inch pipes.

No drone that I can tell, good clean sound going up the bigger hills in sixth gear. Tdotperformance is where I got mine they have very good pricing and free shipping all over Canada.

How much did you pay if you don't mind my asking? I saw the same kit for around 300 on 4wheelparts.com, actually cheaper than direct from MBRP

I think it was $345 plus HST but take into account the shipping that can kill a deal. I bought wheels from Quebec that were $12 to ship. A lot of places in the US are a bit cheaper for price but shipping hurts. T Dot sells most exhaust and pricing is good. Our dollar has dropped also so US stuff has gone up because of exchange. But it was under $400 at my door.

I thought there was a thread with a discussion on this and backpressure is not needed with DI engines.

Economy gas mileage wise it's a big NO. I have owed both 50 and now ECO, you could never get back the extra cash you paid for the ECO in gas mileage. However the smile for the whoosh is a please. Don't buy the ECO for gas mileage as it will never pay off.

I disagree. If all hwy or light throttle use the Eco is rated higher by about 10%. It will lay of over time depending on the price of fuel. If people hot rod it around then no, but any truck will get poor mpg doing that including diesels.

As far as the exhaust, I have heard of minimal gains from a cat back. Down pipes are usually where the power gains are to be had.
