Ecoboost Engine Sound??
Alright guy's, I have some questions about my 2013 Ecoboost and after reading some posts, I can't really pin point the problem of my Truck. My truck has only 27,000km and do my oil change every 8,000km.
Few months ago, like most Ecoboost owner, rattling noise for 3-4 seconds is coming from the engine after start up. I'm aware that it's the Timing Chain and the truck is going at the shop in November to get it fix.
Last week, I plugged in a SCT X4 programmer and installed there 87 tune. 2 day's later, engine light came on with code (P012D- Turbocharger/ Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor Circuit High Downstream of throttle valve) came on.... I then cancelled the code and re installed the stock tune in the truck.
Question is guy's, yesterday I turned on my truck in the morning, regular rattling noise coming from the timing chain was made and then knocking noise every 5-6 seconds!! You can hear the knocking coming from beneath the engine!! What in the hell is that? I drove the truck during the day and after 3-4 hours of stop and go driving it stopped making that "knocking" sound.... Is it just a coincidence that I plugged in the tuner recently and it's something else or I don't know.... Any suggestions or anyone else has the same issue?
I have a video however don't know how to post it....

Sorry if I offended some of you, it's just that my truck is going at the dealership to get the Timing Chain fixed and there's 10 other Ecoboost trucks on the queue to get that fix... There doing mine next due to the other unknown noise it is making. Anyone else has that "knocking" every 5-6 seconds from time to time near the engine area?

I have a 2011 and I heard this noise 2 to 3 times. I haven't heard it again. What is this timing chain problem about?
