If you live where you have harsh winters and salted roads, you may want to consider removing them in the winter to keep them looking good longer.
So
I have heard of the salt effecting the chrome finish after this past winter, so I did a lot of research and have re-sourced my chrome plating to a VERY reputable plater that guarantees their work, (old chrome plater told me tough luck and they wouldnt replace any product that fails)
First batch is going to them in a couple weeks once they have the racks made up for the parts!
ANYONE who has had an issue with their boost-bars I will gladly replace them 100% FREE OF CHARGE as I firmly stand behind what I sell you, and always will. I am not a "fly by night" operation, and being the company owner I can make the decision to respect and look out for my customers best interests first and foremost.
Anyone needs to get in touch PM me any time

Cheers,
Reid

That's awesome reider03, mine suffered damage from last winter, I took them off after I noticed, was able to get most of the damage off with polish but not like new, glad to see you back your product up, very happy about that.

Hopefully we have the same luck as you and they stand up to winters and the crap weather that comes along with it!

The more I read on this topic the better. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on a set of my own. More happy owners and an awesome company owner make it worth the $$, for sure.

Only question now is ... black to match the bumper cap things, or chrome to match the grill . . . . hmmm.

nice, was thinking about getting a pair to go along with my FX4. How easy are they to install? Do they snap in the license plate bracket holes?

Well, let's be honest it was a short debate - lol Definitely black. I was leaning that way and a couple coworkers, friends, and my wife agree ... it's 'me'. Heh.

The next question was texture or flat. I don't know if there are links elsewhere, but a Google image search answered the texture or flat black question. I wasn't sure what texture looks like. I am putting this on an XLT 5.0 and prefer flat. Our good forum friend has another order in his inbox!

I'll be excited to get these. Pic to follow.

Textured black will match your plastic that surrounds the opening. Here's a close up of the textured bars

The flat is just like Plastidip
