well I am not Cerhai ....... but there are no holes on the door for the EB badge. It is just double sided tape. I used fishing line behind the badge to "saw" them off, then just took what ever was left off with my finger nail.

Yeah its not actually there, it was just to see if it would fit and how it would look. I measured F to the side of the tail gate and then have the same gap on the right side....... then in the end just took it off

no holes behind it just double sided tape, I used a fireline fishing string, heated up the badge with heatgun then just cut it off with the line, same motion as flossing your teeth.

Looks good on the lower right. IMO, that's where they should have been, not on the doors.

I have never, ever, ever, evaaahhhh seen an EB badge on a stock truck on the tailgate.

FlexFuel, yes, all day on the 5.0, but never an EB badge.

got pics?

An earlier poster noted that the F-150's with the Appearance Package (FX4) and Ecoboost engine have the Ecoboost badge affixed to the lower right tailgate (like I did w/my KR). This may be due to the graphics on the sides of the truck which is where the Ecoboost badges normally go but would interfere with them so Ford relocated the badge to the tailgate.

I went to CarMax and checked the listings there and found several 2012-13 FX4's w/Appearance package and Ecoboost that have the badge on the tailgate. It appears to be in the same location as the 5.0 trucks that have the Flex Fuel badge.

Since I had the badges on each front door, I measured their location up from the crease in the body that runs around the truck and mounted my badge at the same height to provide a more uniform look.

Regards -

Thanks Gents - I will give the fishing line method a try. Good to know there are no holes underneath!

looks good, OP. my KR is the same color as yours and I want them off of the doors, so I was thinking about getting one of the smaller black Lincoln EcoBoost badges but I haven't decided where I want it yet.
