Dang. That stinks. Yet one more issue for me to keep in the back of my mind. Along with exploding rear glass, drive shaft bearing issue, instant dead battery, etc. I wonder what's next?

You're going to need more than a pump . . . you will need the complete 6.2 setup (i.e.: rack, ends, mounts if they are different) and the pump, as well as a way to make it all work together . . .

Sounds like a good project to me. I bet the computer would even work with it.

Update
To date - no official resolution. The dealership (Bluebonnet Motors, TX) has been terrific. They allowed me take my truck without paying while we wait for Ford to respond. This saves me a bunch of money having to rent a vehicle.
I have been told by Ford customer service directly, and the web crawlers that Ford pays to monitor this website that a resolution would be determined within two to four business days from the date that the Case number was issued. Both of those have passed, and still no word.

My epas had a gear replaced supposedly a few weeks ago. When turning left the wheel would get hung up when returning to center. There is a TSB about the epas.

I do not believe that it matters. There was a posting on here not long ago where someone had a 6.2 with low miles. They already had a leak in the power steering system- I believe that it was the pump. I feel that these components are being built from inferior parts so it is only a matter of time.
