Raptor vs f150 exhaust
So I called my fav parts chickey at my local ford dealer and asked about the difference between my exhaust (2014 6.2 f150) and a Raptor`s exhaust. She looked it up and said the only thing different on the single system is a different resonator but there was no explanation except for the part number diference.
So I`m assuming the Raptor`s exhaust is louder?

She is wrong. The Raptor exhaust is nothing like the regular 6.2 F150 exhaust. You have the same junk catback the 5 liter and Eco uses with a 3.5" flange welded on to it. It necks to 2.5" pipe between the resonator and the muffler and then back up to 3" for the tailpipe.
The Raptor stays at 3" the entire way and has a dual 2.5" outlet muffler. If your truck is a 145" WB the Raptor crew cab exhaust is a no modification bolt on. Raptors are pretty quiet..... but most swear it has more growl. If you dumped the resonator it would be louder for sure. If you don't..... well, you don't see Raptor owners complaining their trucks are loud stock lol.
Here is the front section of my XLT's stock exhaust. Yes it's a 6.2 and an F150 lol.

white_dc ... I think the Raptor, Harley, and Limited 6.2 have the dual out muffler.

Lots of dimensional details and pictures linked in a related thread posted a few days ago. Imaged below is OEM non-Raptor 6.2L exhaust (otherwise common to all engines with differences in res-pipe length to accommodate specific wheelbase):
https://www.f150forum.com/f38/raptor...cab-5l-308238/
Bottom line, Raptor S-Crew 5.5' box res-pipe & muffler assy fits S-cab 6.5' box with no modifications on non-Raptor 6.2L and with only change to smaller diameter res-pipe to y-catpipe flange on smaller engines.
