I cant get my droid x to hookup to sync. When i try i get to the "enter the password" screen and before i can get it typed in it says "connection failed".
I also tried to get the phone to search for sync but that didnt work either.
Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix for it?
P.S. My blackberry storm worked great with sync in this truck.

What version of Android? You might need to see about a background task killer when pairing up the device.

I don't get why people say this. It doesn't slow it down.

It may not slow it down, but it isn't really going to help either android does an awesome job of managing its own memory. Task killers just become wasted space. I also have a droid x and it connects to my truck just fine! Just have to type fast enough!
