Drove 1000 miles in one day with my 2010 xlt. And by the time i got to where i was going, my right hip hurt so bad that i could barely stand it. Not to mention it was sore as hell for three more days.

This so far has been my only complaint about the truck. I have realized that the more i drive it, the more uncomfortable the drivers seat becomes.

Hmm... I've been nearly crippled for the last 2 months myself. Really bad left leg pains. After google search I determined that I had siatic nerve problems but maybe not! May be the truck. I went to a chriopractor 3 or 4 times and it seemed to help a little but he cracked one of my ribs and that hurt so bad that it took my mind off the pain in my leg so I havn't went back. I am curious as to how many other people will chime in on this.

I have noticed that my left leg does bother me some in this truck. The seat cushion is too narrow in the back and the foam is too hard. I suspect that some better foam will help....

Getting the seat adjusted right definately helps. However, this truck is not as comfortable as my Edge was and defnately not as comfortable as my old F150 Lariat....

I think it is most likely cheap foam from China that is the issue....

It's amazing how different people react to the seats in various vehicles. I for one find the seats in my Plat extremely comfortable. So much so that when I take my regular 8 to 9 hour drive up to Long Island, I've found that I'm less fatigued an not sore at all as compared to the Honda Odyssey I had previously and that was a comfortable ride. I guess it all depends on how we're built inside as well.

For one thing, we're not all talking about the same seats. For example, I have a cloth covered split bench seat. Others have individual "bucket" seats. In addition, there might be some occasional variation in the way the seats are assembled--and obvious differences in our bodies--so it's possible that one seat might be perfect for you, and not work at all for someone else.

I'm going to try the suggested adjustments... tilting the seat bottom forward, and then adjusting the back as appropriate. We'll see.

I just added sheepskin covers and they provide additional padding......improved the comfort level. Also like others have said, the position of the bottom cushion makes a big difference.

I also find it very very hard to find a comfortable position after my wife drives the truck and moves the seat. It usually takes me a few days of driving and moving it all around to find the sweet spot.

But, I think my biggest problem is that I am 6'4" and just to big for the seat. The front of the seat is at least 4 inches away from the back of my knees when Im sitting. Almost like the seat it to short for me.

But again, That' s my situation. Everyone is going to be different depending on the type of seats, build of person, etc..
