Driver Side Sitting Lower Than Passenger Side.

I dont want to come off as a smart @%$ but how level is the ground when you are looking at it?
I was wondering if mine had a lean every time I looked at it but then I started to figure out that when I was looking at it, it was always parked in my driveway. Then I figured out that the driveway is slightly graded for water run off.
Moved it out of the driveway and problem was solved.

I have measured it on several different surfaces, mostly going with the measurements from garage parking, including garage at Ford Dealership. I know they are level as I have put a level on the ground in my garage.
Like I said, I took it to dealer last week. I got the phone call saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I picked it up and read the description of the service. The service tech. noted that he measure both the front and back from ground to center of wheel well. He said both of the front were sitting at exactly 37" and both the rear were sitting at both 39". I don't believe there is anything wrong with the truck in terms of performance or breaking down, but I have a problem with them noting that they measured it and numbers on the rear were the exact same. I measured it again right when I got home (thats when I made sure my garage floor was completely level) and I measured my rear left at 38.5" and rear right at 39.5". That difference is barely noticeable, yes, but now I am to the point where I don't think the dealer is being straight forward and honest with me. Its obviously different and they are saying its the same.
I called the dealer back and I am stopping by on way home from work thursday or friday of this week to meet with service manager and the service tech that looked at my truck. They are supposed to explain to me and go through everything they looked at and tested and measure it again in front of me. I am just out to prove a point now.
And no, I do not think a truck should sit an inch lower on one side than the other, full gas tank or not, and the dealer has told me the same thing.

Good Luck with the dealer. Maybe they can see things the way you are loooking at it or provide an explanation that makes "a lot" of sense.
I agree with you that a truck should not sit lower as they are designed for the weight except passengers. Esp at 16K miles.
Good Luck

I said it, and I'll say it again. The dealership won't do anything about it, unless you raise total hell about it and make it an issue. I just don't see them "willingly" doing anything about it without a fuss being raised. I've dealt with dealers in the past and stuff like this is the things that will drive a buyer crazy. It's not just a Ford dealership either, they're all guilty of it.
Good luck man, and I hope you get it resolved with minimal difficulty.

tire pressure is good, have checked it several times on all tires. I am "raising hell" with the dealer. Just spoke to services manager again just now, will be meeting with him and technician this week and I will make them give me a good explanation. They were obviously just being lazy before by saying the measurements are the same, when they obviously aren't.
Dealers will be dealers
Dealers will be dealers

hmmmmm, sounds like one of the bed pannels or both of the pannels were bolted on at different heights and it is causing an optical illusion makeing you think the truck is sitting crooked.......... just like the rear axle offset issue.... or percived issue. I know because when I got my first ranger back in 2001 I looked and looked and lost sleep over how the rear of my truck looked off. I took it to the dealer I measuered from the axle to the ground sat perfect. I measured from the frame to the ground perfect then I measured from the wheelwell and bam off by a .5 inch. I am just saying maybe try measureing from the frame to the ground or axle to the ground or some other combinations. EVERYTHING that is put together has a tolerance for left right up and down and perhaps you just got unlucky and every bolt on your side was within tolerances but at the max for that direction be it up down left or right. ITS not bad quality control because lets face it ITS NOT A LAMBO or a BENZ, its a ford truck and I love my truck but its not a hand made vehicle things WILL be off.

I would be ok with that if it was this was from the day I bought the truck, but it wasn't. It has only been off in the last couple weeks or so, ever since the last big snow here in the NOVA/D.C. area. So something has changed. It is off. I have measured it from every spot possible, axle to ground, frame to ground, wheel well to ground, bumper to ground, etc...it is off. There is no "perceived" issue. It is off, plain and simple. Heading back to dealer today in about an hour to meeting with service manager and service technician.
