Default Downside to leveling

I know there is an old thread on this; but myself, and many others, are discussing leveling lately so hoping to get new "any downside" feedback. I have had a bunch of Rams before this F150. I lifted 2 of them and had nothing but trouble afterwards. To the point where I sold them because of the issues. They were real lift kits and I'm thinking of just leveling mine.

Here is what I want to do...I basically want to lift the truck 1.5" all the way around. I am thinking AutoSpring 1.5" front spacer along with a 3" rear replacement block (1.5" lift) However, I am shell shocked from my previous lifted trucks. I have searched, and read, about 4x4 and driveline issues, along with bad mileage etc. The most recent one was the guy who posted his 4x4 stopped working because of the level and when he took it off everything was fine. Seeing that I am only going 1.5" I was/am hoping I don't have issues. Thoughts?

Was thinking something as small as 1.5" would basically not affect it. Seeing that I'm thinking of going 1.5" all the way around I would be retaining the stock rake...So you think mileage would still be effected? Hell I only get 14mpg now all stock.

3" block will give you 1.75" of increase. Stock block should be 1.25".
Regardless a 1.5" increase in front shouldn't impact it too severely. Are you planning on doing the installation yourself?

According to ReadyLift (the blocks I have)
"2009-2015 4WD will gain 1.5" of additional lift when replacing your factory block with ReadyLIFT 66-2053."
I think I am going to pay someone to do it for me. I will do the rear myself.

2.5" Rough Country level with 33x12.50 MT's. Had it installed for 3 years now with absolutely 0 issues, I'd highly recommend getting one!

Looks great! Hard to ask about mileage because I am sure those tires drop it.

I have a 2011 4x4, I ran a 2" level for 60,000 miles with no issues and a 2.5 auto spring for 40,000 miles. I did replace the upper ball joints at 100,000 miles(10,000 miles before I took off the 2.5 spacer) I just installed Icon stage 2 kit 3,000 miles ago and wish I would've just done to start with. With any spacer your ride will suffer, I've had 1" up to 2.5" between my '04 and '11.

Was at the dealer and asked them about a leveling kit. They said as long as you don't go too high that you will not have any issues and tons of guys they know have them without problems. I said I was only going 1.5" and they said "hell your not going to have any issues" They also said to bring it back afterwards and they will align it for $69. I watched a YouTube video on doing it and I am just gonna do it myself. I measured my truck from the ground and I have a 1" rake between the front and back. So I am going for the 1.5" front AS spacer and the 3" block in the rear (1.5" lift) to lift and retain my 1" rake.
