Default Down loading CD's

When you down load a CD into the truck hard drive and it records and says unknown artist is there a way to change that and give it a name. It would be nice to be able to bring that CD up by voice command.

With the nav system, you go to options > edit music library contents. Then it'll list list all of the albums that it has recorded, you can select one and you are given the option to edit the titles. As far as copying from ipod to the jukebox, I don't think that's possible. At least I haven't seen a button / option for it.

Go back to your dealer and ask him for a copy of the Navigation System owner's manual that he forgot to give you when you got the truck. Then go to page 58-59.

"Accessing the music in your jukebox

1. Press the media hard button on the navigation system.
2. Select the jukebox tab on the touchscreen. You can then select from the following options:
- Options: Select to view your other options
- Edit music library contents"

what he said

i had several cd's that would come up on media player with the album info
but the trucks units couldn't find it and these were not NEW cd's

plus i loaded a mix cd of songs that make you smile when thinking about beating the tar out of your dil, they calm me right down so i renamed the album something appropriate

Thanks for the reply's, what you said worked fine. What happened is my Sony Nav unit never worked right since new and it would not let me edit anything. Plus the FM radio sounded like a bad AM radio. The dealer just replaced the whole unit and I had to down load all my CD's again.
