Trailer default !!

Trailer default !!
When I start my truck I get this message trailer default. I can press the control on the steering wheel to the compass and it goes away but keeps coming back. Everything back at the plug looks good, Don't get it.

Go to the trailer screen and disconnect the trailer.

I had that problem, and it was driving me crazy!
I finally did the procedure below to solve the problem:

On your Instrument Display, go to your Truck Apps page
Scroll right, and I assume yours will show "Default trailer"
At the bottom of that page it says "Press OK for options", so press OK
The next page lets you select a number of things, such as "Change active trailer", "Connection checklist", etc.
Make sure "Change active trailer" is selected, then scroll right
That should bring up a list of trailers that are set up for your truck
One of the items in that list is "NO ACTIVE TRAILER"
Scroll to highlight "NO ACTIVE TRAILER" and press OK
That should bring up a page that says "Trailer disconnected", and that should solve your problem - at least it did for me!
