Back on topic. Try the roadwrap it works. A lot cheaper then the 3M tape goes on and off very easy. You can cover what you want cut it to size and remove and replace just a small section or the entire front clip.

By that logic my front end should be totaled with chips. I tailgate. Or at least my wife tells me I do. I have like 6 chips on my whole front end.

Close up of my bumper, after I buffed it. Back when I hit one of those tire retreads from a semi truck.

Yes back on topic.

I do the spray on type at my work. We use something called road armor. Works pretty well. Has uv protection, so it doesn't yellow. But it's basically a flexed clear.

Some pics of a '14 explorer I did.

There is no assuming here. I have been on this event called Raging Bull Texas Stampede. We drive 300-500 miles over a 3 day weekend through some of the most fun, curvy roads in Texas. But part of that is the road conditions are not all that great as well. Lots of gravel, lots of rocks, lots and lots of it. And no one goes the speed limit. Average speed is 100 mph.

The first time I went I took my G35 Sedan. I had a clear bra on it. I did follow closely during all that, 2 car lengths distance or so. And my front end was completely sand blasted. Windshield had nicks all in it. Removed the clear bra and it did its job. The next few times I went I had no clear bra, but I made sure to keep my distance and I was at least 6 car lengths back and NEVER had issues again with my front end.

Like others mentioned here, and from experience, you are FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE. These are the facts and you continue to deny them. You are 18 years old, and don't have the experience of some who have been driving for 40+ years that have told you the same thing I am telling you.

Also the one posting pic of his red truck. It takes a combination of bad roads and following closely to do damage. Not just following closely.

Wow, you know the condition of the roads where I live? That's amazing!

We don't have pristine roads here in Wisconsin/MN. I live on a gravel road. And drive mostly highway. Which at this time of year are covered daily in a sand/salt mixture. Rocks/stones/chunks of salt kick up. It happens. You don't need to follow close, or have gravel roads to get stone chips

Please just stop. If you want to judge someone's driving skills go somewhere else.

I smell a troll stirring up the pot.
Or he's the bestest driver in the whole wide world at dodging road debris and sand.

I know HardcoreFXFour personally, and have seen him drive. He does not tailgate, and does not partake in stunting. I too have decades of driving experience and have logged upwards of 2,000,000kms. Doesn't make me any better than anyone else. I am also familiar with the roads he drives regularly, and the area he lives in.

I don't know why it's so important for someone who is my age or older to browbeat my friend, my good friend, and make it sound like because he is young, he is precluded from telling the truth. I'd much rather you take your Raging Bull**** Texas Stampede elsewhere, and leave the man alone.
