4.34 inches of rain in 3 days and not a drop of water in the bed. The fibermax backflip has been a lot better then the previous backflip HD I had

Follow-up.

I ordered my F1 in December, got it in January, it leaked, Julian and team took care of me, got new F1.

No leaks. Zero. I'm happy, very happy. So happy, that even with the new model of covers coming out like the Roll-X, I don't want another one!!

Very satisfied!!

Same reports here with the Roll-X. First time Ive spent decent money on a cover and it was well worth it. I know there are plenty of good covers out there but I would be more than confident suggesting it to anyone.

I have an older truck and I just installed the G2 BAKflip and it leaks near the front.

This seal was folded in-between the cover when packaged. No instructions for install. Does it go upfront?

Thanks for any help!

Last picture is not showing anything, but yes there should be a seal with two sided tape that will go upfront.

Maybe that explains why mine has been leaking recently too. I don't have that two sided tape.

When I first got mine it never leaked but over last year it's progressively gotten worse. Still good cover though.

I have the F1 and it leaks near the cab and the miniature "D" rings on the panel closest to the cab have corroded. I narrowed the leak down to the bolts that go through the panel closest to the bed and BakFlip's solution was to use silicone to fix the leak and touch-up paint for the corrosion, neither of which they would provide.
For the price of the cover I expected a better product and better customer service. My previous cover was an Extang (different truck). Their product was just as good (if not better) and their customer service was 10x better.

Mine leaks as if I don’t even have one on my bed!
A little less than 2 years old now.
The rubber has shrunk and left big gaps.

For a second there I thought that was my truck as it looks the same way that mine does this morning after an hours worth of rain last night.
