My suggestion would be to call the factory at (818) 365-9000 or email oscar@bakliner.com and get them to send you a set of drain valves and tubes for the rear end of your rails. They just slip right on and will settle your issue completely.

Thanks jmaimin. I called the factory today and they suggested adding the rear drain valves and tubes solution immediately and will be shipping out the parts promptly. We'll see how that goes, but I expect it will solve this particular issue. I did notice a couple of other small drips in a couple of places (front corners, one hinge at the edge), but since this is a new install I want give it a chance to settle in and seal, and see if I just need to tweak it some to resolve those.

^^^ This is true customer service. I have yet to get a cover. Always liked the bakflip looks and functionality, from what I have read about. And I have seen problems w the bakflip posted on here, and I have seen the president of bakflip as well as another seller of bakflip on here and offer solutions as well as replacements to further advance the name, quality, and customer service of this cover. My birthday, in June, is fast approaching, and the F1 will b my present. No questions asked. Can't wait for my day. Jmaimin and bakfactory, props to you both for ur unquestionable service.

Just ordered a G2.

I went through 2 Extang Solid Folds that were leaking at the hinges, so hopefully I'll have better results with the BAKFlip.

I'm ordering a G2 for my new truck here pretty quick. From the general consensus of this forum...its appears the Bakflip is the favored cover.

Plus its only $789 on their website.

Yeah I wan't to get one of those too

I wasn't too impressed with my Bakflip cover at first, though once it was on for a week and the rubber along the sides settled out and after seeing how well it performed in heavy rains, I'm satisfied.

I'll never trust that type of cover to be as good as a solid lid or camper shell, but its easily the best option on the market if you want to be able to go from securing your cargo to having full access to the box.

I'd buy another in a heart beat.

Look around on the forums and with google. You should be able to get a F1 for that price.

Exactly. I got an F1 for roughly that price from a Forum member.
