Does a Leveling kit need rear blocks?

But some guys don't want a complete lift. I had thought about it- but cutting into it, replacing wheels and rubber, and having to get new steps- completely not worth it to me. Full lifts arent the end all be all. Not trying to stir more crap- but most of the lifts I have looked at lift the front, but level the rear to front. So.... You end up with the same problem, only higher up. A level is a good option to fit a bit larger rubber, and like mentioned before- blocks, AAL, or whatever is an option if you find the need. In some cases necessary because some trucks end up a bit nose high.
I hauled heavy ONCE without an add a leaf and just a level. I'll never do it again. The *** squatted so much that it felt like my steering was barely touching the ground. With the extra leaf- I can load for bear and it still feels stable.
I'm not saying your opinion is wrong because it is just that- an opinion. But you can't deny that the options listed are viable and at times necessary. I'd never pull a trailer squatted right out. It just doesn't ride or handle right, nor feel safe to me.

Your right, to each their own, and just because you say "if you wanna buy blocks and a level, you might as well just get a complete, real lift" doesn't make it a fact that has to be followed as if it were law. It is just that, your opinion, and everyone else is allowed to have their's just as much as you are. Like I said before, one man's safe towing is different then another's.

I bought a 2" AS level and although it made the front perfectly level with the rear when measuring, it still appeared nose high to me. I added 2.5" rear blocks from the raptor and with the new 295/60/20 tires I love the new stance. IMO I think any truck looks better with a bit of rake to it. I am now exactly 1" higher in the rear. I'm very happy with the end result.
