Default Do I have HD radio?

Truck is 2014 XLT SuperCrew with basic 4-inch screen, no navigation, and has SiriusXM. Thanks!

I do not think you have HD Radio. I think HD is only available with the the higher-end sound system.

Default HD radio

Not sure where you live, but in my area you can most definately tell a difference. We have about 5-6 stations broadcasting HD radio and they all sound better in HD. My wife has it in her yota, wish FORD would get with the program.

Yeap, have an aftermarket Kenwood installed in mine with HD radio and it sounds amazing. Beats the crap out of Sirius sound quality wise all the way around...i'd say HD with a good signal is not far off from cd quality sound. Way, way better than analog FM.

Just wait until you are older than dirt, it will all sound the same.

Sat radio sounds like it's playing through a tin can sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. Guess it depends on the signal, and as for being old as dirt and it all sounding the same I feel old as dirt sometimes but my ears still work pretty good. I definately abused my hearing in my younger years and still do on occasion(Nine Inch Nails sounds better cranked up a little), but at 44 I can still tell HD sounds better than a regular FM broadcast.

With HD radio you also get sub channels like you do with HD TV. So say your favorite rock station is 103.5. You may also get 103.5-1 and 103.5-2.
