My 09 plugs were very easy to change at very high mileage, it's a 4.6 3v but exhaust manifolds etc are the same.
Cam phasers were an issue in earlier 5.4's , and plugs up to 08 could be a pain, have changed a few. Electrodes snap off and you can need to use a special tool to remove plug.
I like the 6 speed for gas mileage. Have driven the 4speed 5.4 and I like the 6 speed better.
Better reliability if you do the research, program changes fixed the funky shifting.

right on is the 320 hp rating only for if you use e85 ? I'm looking to get a tuner from 5 star i just went on a trip of about 1500 miles and only got 16mpg but i was going 80 so i figured might as well chip it and run the 91 octane tune looking for a good intake too 5 star has a kit with the tuner and intake but its a bit spendy

A good read (from PHP):

In other words - don't bother with an intake.
BTW - kinda pointless to be discussing mileage if you keep wanting to run @ 80 mph - not gonna happen the aeros will kill you. NO programmer guarantees any mileage gains. Be prepared to be disappointed if yer expecting any.
