Default difference between 14 and 15

So, after reading the post on finding the build date I learned that my 14 stx supercrew was built in 11/14. My question is what is different between my truck and a 15. (Besides the body style) The 15's were all ready being delivered in November 14.

Not a whole lot!
The body and engine tweaks, is all I can see.
When they go to the 8 speed transmission, revamped sync and I'm sure a couple design improvements, is when I'll start to really take notice.

i like the 15 tailgate step, door handles and larger console better than my 14. tailgate step grampa handle is internal to the tailgate for a sleeker look. door handles are 10x better, it feels like your grabbing ahold of something compared to the flimsy plastic ones on the 14. and center console is a touch wider which may be not a good thing if they stole inches from seat width.

The difference is the 15 will have you thinking you're driving something that could be the results of a ford/chevy one-night stand.

Too many things on the 15 remind me of the Silverado (the previous model).

I agree-. I had theopportunity to turn in my 14 and after looking at many 15's i took a pass-. something about them that turned me off-. your chevy analogy may just be it....

Power window switches, blue display for the mileage on lower models, outside door handles, power lock buttons and the dash in general..... All Chevy-esque.

Big change is weight reduction. No othe major changes except like a mid model refresh.... Of course '15 owners will disagree. And yes the 2.7 owners have a point that their truck I very different and truly inclusive of new technology.

Agree with your POV. A new transmission is a requirement for me.

The dash vents for the a/c are messed up, they should have kept the round ones.
