Default devldog131's 2009 FX4 Build

Today I finally got the chance to replace the chrome step bars on my FX4 with the black Ford Accessories version. I love the look of the black rails with the painted bumpers. The chrome just looked out of place.

Speaking of the painted bumpers, can somebody tell me the name of the gray on the lower panels of my truck?

Other mods completed:
USB2 mod
Bully LED tailgate light bar
Replaced stock door speakers with new kicker 6x8's
Kicker hideaway powered sub in factory sub location
Realtruck.com XR series roll-up tonneau cover

To be done soon:
RTV silicone on SAT radio antenna tomorrow(started leaking during rain storm yesterday)
Third brake lights also started leaking yesterday, so instead of sealing with silicone, I just ordered Recon Smoked LED third brake light, will be here Thursday and installed before the snowstorm hits us that afternoon
Got the parts for a homemade blue LED ambient lighting for Christmas, will be installing sometime very soon (weather and time permitting)

Additional future plans:
Black wheels (haven't decided on a set yet)
Aftermarket grill (likely mesh with custom emblem from Metalmiller)
Custom tailgate emblem from Metalmiller
Custom FX4 decals from Moodyblue
Black out F150 badges (probably just plasti-dip)
Gloss black piller covers
Leveling kit
Bigger tires on my 20" rims (maybe)
HD style headlights and taillights
Convert mirror reflectors to smoked turn signals
Raptor style grille marker lights
Short antenna
LED Bed lights
LED under-hood lights
Input is welcome and appreciated.

The lower colour is Sterling Grey metallic.

Nice truck! I had a two-tone 2005 FX4 that I miss every day.

^ I'm glad i'm not the only one... My '13 is immeasurably nicer than the '12 is, yet for some bizarre reason i really miss the older one...

I think it's called Vehicular Nostalgia. Not really sure what the cause is. The 2005 was a beat up, 150,000 mile hand me down truck from a family member who smoked unhealthy amounts of weed in it and put a massive dent in the passenger bedside. I have no real reason to miss it, but I do. It's for sale again, And if I let the idiot in me buy it back I'd have it back in my driveway by now.

I'm sure there are some plans that I forgot to list, but aren't there always? The difficult part is getting the CFO in my house (my wife) to approve all of the money I want to spend. Having a 2 year old kid puts a crimp in my spending, too.

Amy recommendations for good wheel sources with fair prices are welcome, since that will be the most expensive part of the build.
