Back in 2003 I wanted a replacement sticker for my 2002 F150 that was made in Norfolk and a guy on here who worked there said he had a roll of them on his locker and sent me a few. Mine has turned a pale shade of green from sun fade. Any ideas how to obtain one? I wish not to start/continue a Union debate,(that is why I did not just comment on a past thread for this decal) I just want a green Dearborn Assembly sticker(s) that is all.... thx

I just had my windshield replaced last week due to another Washington flying rock. I also wanted the Dearborn sticker replaced so I contacted UAW600 and had one at my door in 3 days. The first try or two I got not response. Finally got ahold of a Union Rep and he took care of it.

Plus then you can tell if it's been in a wreck. That's how I found my 03 was never wrecked

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but I've seen used windshields put into cars at salvage yards......stickers and all. A car fax or similar report would be a better way to know if it was wrecked. There are some shady people out in the world today tryin to make a quick buck.

Question

I had to replace my windshield on Monday and they couldn't transfer the decal to the new one. UAW and Ford Corp. are no help. Does anyone know how or where to get another Dearborn Plant decal?

I need one also. I've been to the Dearborn plant and that's where all my Fox bodies were built.

All you have to do is be nice and persistent. I had to have my windshield replaced from a rock shooting off someone's wheel in front of me and called Ford for a replacement sticker they kept thinking I was talking about the dealer window sticker but finally got them to understand what I wanted. The guy I spoke to was very cool and really went out of his way to help me. Best thing was he sent it to me at no charge can't say enough good things about Fords customer service on this one.

You wouldn't happen to remember the number you called would you? I can't get anywhere on the phone.

I called 1800-392-3673. The guy that helped me was from the "Research Analyst Department". Hope that helps just remember try not to get frustrated with the customer service when they tell you there's no way to get that sticker. There's always a way it's just how hard they feel like going out of their way.

Just FYI, my thread about unions was shut down for people going back and forth about if a union was good or not. I understand people will believe what they want and argue what they believe. Lets try to stay on topic here so this thread doesn't get canned.
ftownkev Thanks for that number and information. I'm getting my windshield replaced next week and want to get a new sticker as well.
