I haven't had mine break yet. I put some good torque on them during install, and I run my rig hard off-road.
Thing is, once they're installed, the spring is compressing the entire assembly. Even with the tires off the the ground, it's still being pressed into the upper spring cup with some force. Meaning there isn't any stress on these bolts, and even if they did break it's not going anywhere. It simply cannot extend downwards any farther (which makes install a bitch), and it cannot move to the side because of the spring cup around it.
It has absolutely nothing to do with alignment either. It's not like we are using struts like a car.

Being one of the smallest leveling kits, it doesn't overextend your CVs the way some of the other, taller kits do. Though the UCA still does act as the stop for downtravel. In fact, the extended length for the 1" Daystar kit is pretty much the same as the extended length for the Fox shocks. So if you overextend with the DAysta 1", then you also do with the Foxes.

I've seen many posts of Bilstein 5100s breaking at the lower mount when used off-road. I trust my Daystar 1" kit more than the Bilsteins due to that reason.

And I've seen several posts of people with the steel welded leveling kits breaking the welds in heavy off-road use.

Unless you're spending the coin for Foxes, these are still in my opinion the best solution.
