Hey guys so I bought a Mobius Action Cam to use as a dash cam and I think it has turned out great. I have installed everything, but am not sure how to tap into the mirror. I replaced the crappy wire loom that surrounds the wires coming from the back of the mirror and included an EDOtech fuse wire inside the new wire loom you can pick up at the store. I need to simply tap a power and ground so that it turns on and off with the ignition. I have heard of several different colored wires to tap into so I'm just making sure before I go stripping wires. It's a 2010 f150 lariat (with nav) if that makes any difference

The Mini 0805 is just an updated Mini 0803 with improvements to it for better video quality and heat dispersing. I'm sure you'll love it.

I can vouch for that. I've had the 0805 for about a year now and it's been fantastic. Great video, day and night. Also the audio works great. Haven't used the motion sensor or lane position sensor tho so can't speak to those.
For the price the 0805 is pretty tough to beat.

Craiggemt, is that a diagram of the back of the rearview mirror?
I am wondering how to splice in that spot without exposing it and having a clean install, etc. That it why I carried the wire up to the O.H.C. I put up a picture of the two clips I was looking to tap into. The smaller plug controls the dome lights so I believe it is the larger plug. Would you happen to know if I cap tap into that plug?

That's the plug on back of the mirror. I used http://www.ebay.com/itm/111551612800?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT to tap into the mirror power for my radar detector. If that isn't an option for you, just trace those two wires back above the OHC and splice there.
