I am absolutely happy with this product.

I just pulled the trigger and placed my order!

I'm excited to get it all installed in my truck. I'm going to run a larger 12 gauge wire from my battery into the cab. I plan to connect not only the camera to this wire but also my CB. I've done this with several past vehicles. I've found getting power for the CB directly from the battery eliminates some of the noise. This wire should be good for the camera too.

Don't forget to d/l the app for your phone, makes it real easy to determine final positioning of the cams before you stick them to the glass. You want to make sure because the stickum is atomic strength.

We are expecting the new model to arrive early next week. They are in transit to us already. If you are looking to get one, pre-order now since they are going pretty quickly.

This is something a lot of my customers were worried about. However, it is your choice whether or not to hand over the video to insurance companies/police. They have no right to take the video from you, unless you were obviously in big trouble already. (We are all safe drivers… right? Haha) There are always more benefits to having GPS since it can further back up your insurance claim if you didn’t do anything wrong. Also, as mentioned already, it is a feature that can be turned on/off and the data is actually seperate from the video file itself on the Mini 0803, so you can just show the video without the speed data.

The Mini 0803 is a great value especially after the improvements to the housing and heat sink since they were the only concerns of the old Mini 0803. The night quality is excellent and it is a very discreet dash cam. The best feature about it is the quick disconnecting mount that allows you to just pull it off if you need it take it out of the truck or hide it.

Fedex delivered it today, directly from Korea! Now I need to learn Korean so I can read the manual! Luckily, the Amazon Seller emailed me an English manual for it. Looks like the Power Magic module needs not only a direct battery connection but switched ACC+ also. I wonder if that switched connection sends a signal to the camera to be in full record mode VS idle mode?

Hi Kelvin,

I would imagine you will be applying my discount to my already existing order that hasn't shipped year as per our e-mail convo? I'll be posting a review on the 803 as well once I've got it for a bit.

Thanks!

So how tough is it to install the 803? I don't need the thing to run while my truck is off but I'd like it to turn on with the truck and be a kind of install and forget thing until it's needed.
Thanks for the Discount. I'll be ordering soon if it's easy to install!
