Plastic welding is freaking easy man.. just melt that plastic on there with a sautering iron and smooth it out.. it wont leave the holes like the glue did! i look forward to seeing your progress as well!

Im not knocking it.... but why would you want to have an ipad where the radio was? What do you personally use your ipad for?

Large screen navigation as the picture shows, my music library is on there, i can fill out invoices for my customers in the truck and email them right then and there, video and internet when im waiting for clients, and of course the aesthetics.. it can be tailored to anybody's needs for the most part. Its my entertainment, day planner, navi, and business invoice center all in my dash board that i can take with me anywhere

Is there any solution for those of us with built in nav and the back up cam? I guess there is no way to show the camera on the tablet/ipad.

Well the built in nav can just be ignored since u can use an arguably better nav in the ipad.. the camera issue is going to be resolved any day now, there's a company making a Bluetooth back up camera that can be displayed through all apple and android devices I'll definitely be on it

If u use the Bluetooth audio stream, it doesnt require any extra hardware.. if u want it wires into the truck through auxiliary in and charging through an accessory port, the hardware will cost anywhere from 50-350$ depending on how high end u want to go
