Default cup holder

I'm trying to find the ring that goes around the cup holder on the center console to see if it fits the hole in my 08... anyone know off hand?

would like to help you out. built the seats for 8 years. you say "ring that goes around the cup holder on the center console". the center console is called the armrest or 20%. there is a cup holder behind the center console for the back seat people. i am not clear on what you are asking.

I see that you are talking about a truck built with a console shifter rather than on a steering wheel. i would contact the service dept. at a dealership for that item.

Default console

I went to my ford parts dept and they only show the whole console, and even it dosen't show the chrome accent ring.. I don't know what else to try. I've seen it on some of the 07 expeditions too.(new interior style) looks like it's molded, but it can't be colored and chrome in the same process...... has to be able to get somehow.. I can't see replacing the whole console cause one lil ring breaks.

Default chrome rings

it's the whole center console @ 400.00..if it's broken for some reason Ford changes the WHOLE thing..not just part of it.... I'm trying to work with a body shop to see what I can come up with.

Lot of money for a little more chrome..but I own a Harley..kinda used to it.
All I could find out was that the chrome is on the 09 f150 Platnium editions but couldn't find out how it was attached. If its part of the console as you stated then I guess I have to fine one in the junk yard..except they to new to by there.I dont know if any other years or models have them..but I'll keep looking.

Default cup holder chrome

I found just the top part from a 09's console, bought it and the chrome ring is too small for the 04-08's our stock cup holes are about 3/4 inch longer and a bit wider too!!

For what its worth I popped the chrome rings off a Platnium Edition f150 and tried them with no luck either. The rear trim rings you might be able to use with some modificatios and super glue but there not a plug and play type item.
There is a guy on e-bay selling chrome INSERTS for our trucks that go into the black rubber insert the the cup sits it.He states that its dual purpose..first it ads a little chrome and second it reduces the size of the cup holder opening so a can of pop doesn't rattle around in it.Its actually polished billet alumunum.Also..and dont laugh..It looks like the chrome AC outlets are the same diameter as the rear cup holders if you cut out the vent part or them and kept the ring. Just a thought.
