I had the red version of the 5.0L coyote v8 emblem, and the red side is gone, faded from the sun

so what you're saying is that it has the typical fit and finish of the other OEM badges ford is known for...

Might be pretty cool to find a Wile. E Coyote sticker that looks nice, and place it where the flexfuel thingy is. Sorry, just thinking again. But it would be just the opposite of the old Road Runner sticker on a Plymouth.!!

The 5.0L Coyote V8 badges are available in Red or Blue background and are aftermarket, not OEM. The Red or Blue will fade from UV in about 6 months. I have the Red background...the one on the front license plate frame is very faded form the sun. The one on the tailgate is out of the sun mostly and has not shown signs of fading. Perhaps clear coating them may preserve the color longer.
