Default What I want to know is.........

Why Ford didn't find some room on the drivers-side of the engine compartment for the battery? They put everything else over there.

I thought it would have been nice when they were designing the '09 and up platform, if they could have at least relocated the oil dipstick to the passenger-side. I guess that would have been asking to much.

I've been around to long to loss any sleep over something like that. I was just a little surprised when I opened the hood the first time.

I just think it would have been a bit easier to get to on the passenger side.

For another reason, I thought I've had my new truck long enough to find something to complain about.

If you need to complain-how about the big **** gap in the front wheel well/engine compartment area. Nothing like slinging mud all over the engine NICE

Well, I do actually have to take it to the dealership in the morning.

When I turn on the side-view mirror heater, the "Door Ajar" light on the instrument panel comes on with ding dong ringing.

I also thought so. I thought at first I must not have closed one of the doors completely. I got out and did a walk around, opened and closed all 4 doors twice and it still did it.

Yah, Ford is not too smart building these trucks. Give them your contact info. Maybe they will call you on the redesign in a couple of years.

Why would you want the oil dipstick on the passenger side? I think it's nice to be at the gas station, get out of the driver's side, and pump gas on the driver's side, and if i want to check the oil... that's on the driver's side too. Why make things difficult by moving it to the passenger side?
