Cooper stt PRO

Opinionated Blowhard
So, as promised here is my review and pics of my truck after installing the Cooper STT Pro tires. 3 weeks ago, my truck was bone stock. I used Bilstien 5100's set at 2.5" in the front and replaced the factor 1.5" rear block with a Pro-Comp 3" rear block. The wheels are 20 "Pro-Comp 6032's with +0 offset. The tires are 295-60-20's. There was some pretty major rubbing after install, especially on the passenger side. After some trimming, everything fits fine, and no rubs even off road. The tire performs great on and off road. Although I haven't done any crazy off road driving or mud, I can tell there is some serious traction, and can't wait for a trip to the deer lease in the rain. I have never had MT's on a truck of my own, but feel like the road noise isn't too bad. You can definitely hear the humming but it's not distracting to me at all, and I really don't even notice any more. I love the new look, and love these tires. The gas mileage hit was a bit more than expected though. before after

I love em have bad about a week now handle great on the highway haven't found any mud yet. Light noise but not super loud. The tire shop I got them at (I overpaid but didn't want to wait for Amazon shipping) said I was the first set they had sold and only set they had in stock .

Got them on my Jeep Liberty CRD (Diesel) and they are awesome. I replaced my Cooper AT3s with them. Once you get the correct psi...they do great. They will never corner as good as the AT3s...but they are working our just fine.

Thank you. without adjusting speedo/odo for new tire diameter the dash is reading at 10mpg from a previous avg of 13.9. I havent done the math to see the actual change, and will have a tuner put on next week to calibrate everything back into spec. Im guessing the actual difference to be greater than 2.5mpg, may be, probabbly. even greater than 3. I just dont want to admit it.

MPG is going to vary based on gear ratios most of all...and then added rotational mass.
I know that my jeep weights in at 4480 with C rated AT3s (255/70/16) and now it weights in at 4520 with E rated STT PROs (245/75/16). I went thru a lot of psi trials to get the right feel...now set at 45psi. My AT3s ran at 36psi.
