Good looking tires. I wish they offered more sizes for 20" wheels.

i ran these on my last 4wd, when they hit about 25k miles they were horrible in the rain. like driving on ice, i rotated them every 4-5k miles criss crossing them. got real noisey also, they did do great in the mud down south. probably would of gone 50-60k miles but i sold them. i am leaning toward the Cooper AT3, don't need that aggressive tire anymore.
Just put on a set of Cooper AT3's Very smooth ride and no noise at all. Helped that they offered a $70 rebate on a set as well.

I saw the at3's but I liked the st maxx look better. Plus didn't have the size in at3 that I wanted. They are both heavy E rated tires though. How's your performance / mpg on them ?

The size mine are, standard load rating not E. No idea on mileage as I just put them on last week but it don't matter to me, I bought a truck not a Prius.

I put on factory size 18" p metric Cooper AT3s last fall. Best tire I ever used in the snow last year!
I have about 19k on them and I think they will be spent at around 40-45k.
I drive all twisty type mountain roads, so I will be happy with that mileage.
In comparison, the factory Wranglers were slick at 34k.

I've ran kinda the same setup to yours for 30k miles now. I have 3.73s and 34's but it's on factory 20's and trail grapplers. Also have the 5.4 in a 2010. I never noticed a huge drop in power. I did notice cruising at 80 on hilly interstate it would kick out of 6th where it held it before, but overall I'm impressed.

Combo of bigger tire reducing gear ratio. Heavier and having the 5.0 which needs to rev to make power to overcome the extra tire weight and now the higher gear ratio.
