Default Tire Question

So I have a 2011 FX4 with the stock 18x9 wheels. Can I run 275/70r18 tires on the my stock rims? or is the rim width to narrow?

Stock would be 275/65/18, so by going up an inch in diameter to a 275/70/18 does not change the width of the tire whatsoever. In fact, generally the higher aspect ratio (the bigger the second number) the wider tire you can run on the same rim. That means the 275/70/18 is very slightly a "better" fit than OEM width wise.
