Very good. Keep those trailer tires aired to the max, and keep speeds under 65mph (trailer tires are speed rates to 65mph max).

BTW, you can score some smoking deals on Craigslist on used WDH. Just do your research so you don't get hosed on price.

I just did a little research. Reese hitches have 2 models that fit the F150. Both are rated at 600/6000 non WD, so that pretty much matches up with the Ford Factory hitch specs.

Well, even though I was only 100# over on tongue weight I decided to go with a WD hitch. I bought the Equal-I-Zer 1000/10000. Should be here by the end of next week so I will report back once I have it installed and towed with it. I didn't necessarily need the sway control but who knows what the future brings. I might end up with a toy hauler someday. In the meantime, it can't hurt to have the added safety. Thanks for all of the pointers. Forums are a great resource loaded with experience and knowledge.
