Default 2013 FX4 Getting Lifted, need Wheel HELP!!

Hi guys! I just pickedup a 2013 F150 5.0L FX4 with Appearance Package and I’m loving it… but I’m terrible at leaving things stock! I may be new to F150s, I am not new to the modifying game.

Here is my current trail rig, “Grim Reaper” Sport Trac (yesthose are 35”s):

With that said, I just ordered a 6” Procomp lift kit andplan on having it installed next week so I need to get on the ball and get somewheels ordered. I know 20x9” 0 offsetwheels will fit no problem, but I do not like how narrow they look compared tothe set of Bushwacker flares I have to put on. I’m wanting some wheels that give it a wider stance and they MUST HAVE A DEEP LIP!!

1. Whatwheel sizes/offsets can I run with this lift and not have any rubbing issues(I’ve had to cut, chop, and hammer away on the Sport Trac to eliminate rubbingthere and I refuse to do that to a brand new truck).

2. Can I run a 20x10” -12 offset and 5” backspacingor same wheel in -24 offset and 4.5” backspacing?

3. Can I run a 20x9” -12 offset and 4.53“ backspacing?

Here are the 20x10” Fuel Hostage wheels I want to run:

Here are the 20x9” TIS 535B wheels I want to run:

What size of wheels are on this?? 22x_?_” offset _?_

This is the truck at the dealership I bought mine at. Of course they steal my style after my specialorder truck came in stock. It’s running20x9” with 0 offset and you can see that they just look too narrow for thoseflares/body.

Here are some pics of my new ride known as Black Betty (lotsof mods since this):

Well done on the purchase! I didnt think i would of had to trim on mine but i ended up having to very slightly, most likely due to my tires more than the wheel and backspace. BDS calls for 5in BS for 18's from what i remember but you can actually check out their site for their recommendations, however they show 37's being possible but it must be for narrow tires because i cant see 12.5 wide 37s fitting on my truck lol.

those flares on that Dealership wanna be custom look like 2 in flares, i plan on going with 1.5 PTM flares once i figure out which ones i want. But ultimately you are right, there needs to be at least a small offset for that aggressive stance.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply!! According to Procomp they say you can run 20" wheels, but they have to be a width of 8-9.5" and 4.5-5.5" backspacing. I guess I'm just trying to find the sweet spot on offset/backspacing if I run a 20x9" vs a 20x10" and have no rubbing??

BDS claims 20s as well, which i definitely see being just fine. Im guessing the only factor would be overall width of the tire. Then again if you dont mind throwing some extra cash on it, eliminate all the worry by getting some longer control arms and then you can do what you want other than some trimming, but a dremel (with minor rolling of the metal behind the plastic) and some bed liner rattle can and you wont even notice unless you point it out. I say all that because id imagine that most companies are referring to rubbing on the control arms as far as width goes.

Once I pm you the pics you will see it is minor modification. I dont have any regrets and I bought this truck in December with the 100k warranty

Edit: I meant longer control arms as in the uni-ball that allows more clearance of tire lol. I just realized how silly that sounded without explaining it.

Edit x 2: now that i think of it, im pretty sure my control arm is above my tire due to the extended steering knuckle. Ill find out for sure tomorrow when I look at it. sorry for the confusion. Im just excited to see your truck come alive lol

Always believed Deep Lip wheels are killer (in a bad way) on axles and lugs for 4x4ing. Street queens is one thing but not good for off road.

That murdered out truck at the dealer is hideous. Flender flares look redonkulous!!!

Im guessing that advice is based on some serious offroading... I only say that due to "buried" and "two wheeled" offroading I have done with a lip and spacers (on a previous 4x4). However I am also a crawler, I dont see myself slapping a burm or yanking out of a rut at 45+ mph. I also only play and hunt, I dont have a lot of hours or miles working out my suspension.

I had 20x10s with a -12mm offset (5" backspacing) on my old truck that had a 6" Fabtech and 35/12.50/20 Trail Grapplers fit with some trimming.
