Its been discussed before in another thread. You need the new cluster and the steering wheel switch. I dont believe this will work on the 2009-2010 models. Only the 2011-2014 models.

Hey Rnlcomp... Had a quick question and thought you answered it in another thread. I had another Tech at my local Ford tell me he can program the mileage into my cluster using IDS.

From what I recalled this can't be done through IDS... Right?

Mileage was corrected since the pic. Dealer could not change mileage. Sent it to The Instrument Cluster Store for correction. Cluster is a 2012 and my truck is a 14. It's straight plug and play. You have to swap the steering wheel buttons but that's it. You need a 4x4 cluster if you have 4x4. I got lucky and the cluster came out of a truck with a trailer brake controllee. I just hadidn't to disable the reverse sensors on the cluster since I don't have them. Judging from my conversation with a Ford tech at my dealer last week this will blow his mind. Lol

I've looked thru every single programming option there is in IDS and I couldn't find anything that allows mileage changes, as mentioned above you have to send the cluster out.

Thanks.. He was certain that it can be done using IDS, But I'd rather just send it out just to be sure.

It might be but the 11 years I worked at the dealer, we always had to send them out, granted that was a decade ago and technologies have changed, ask him how he does it with IDS, I'd be interested in finding out, might be a hidden feature I haven't figured out.

Should be able too. I would think the 3 would just be replaced with the M
