Proud owner of a blue jeans metallic with chrome! Also purchased chrome rims to keep up with the scheme I don't think blue jeans would look good with anything other than chrome personally

I have a 64 chevy with a full chrome undercarriage/suspension, full chrome engine back, and all trim chrome... that's enough chrome in my life, that's why my truck is all black everything!

Chrome certainly holds up better than paint, especially on the bumpers and grill. Seen many a painted bumpers with road rash.

Just remember, black won't get you back, it's chrome that gets you home!
x2 Black and Chrome look great together

Thanks, I plan to add some black flares, with stainless rivets, and black and chrome wheels after I level the truck.

Ok I will play, I too like chrome and I will always think some chrome is a prerequisite for a real truck. I think a truck should always come with a real metal front & rear chrome bumper and grille and that's enough.

My truck is an XLT that came with the super-duper, mega MAX chrome deluxe package and personally it's WAY over the top. I only got the one I got because it was like $12K off at the time I got it. But I actually hate the faux chrome-plastic 18" wheels and chrome door handles on my 2011. Also don't like the huge chrome tube, sidestep although it is 100% functional and nice when I need them.

If I could de chrome my truck by 20% -25% I would be fine with that. It actually pains me Ford does not offer an XLT with a more monochromatic scheme. I mean I can't help but think it's cheaper to PTM parts than faux chrome them, yet you can buy an STX for less than an XLT with PTM parts ??

I like chrome on old classic cars and motorcycles. It looks "right" on them.

But on modern vehicles it looks out of place to me. I have chrome wheels, grill, nerf bars, exhaust tip....it's just too much.

I prefer the look of the FX packages.

Much chrome is overdone. I blacked out my '08 more or less as a personal preference. You will not find any other f150 with the materials I used, I can almost guarantee it

On my '08 it looked like ****. No nice way to put it.
On the '11 its....growing on me.
