Default Check out my new light bar.

After a long search I finally found a quality light bar that will fit on my 09 FX4. I mounted a pair of Light Force lights to help me spot the moose on these long Alaskan nights

How far out does that extend past the normal bumper line? I'd like to get one, but I have fitment issues when it comes to getting my truck in the garage. Every inch matters...

The bar adds 3" with Light Force lights add 2". Total is about 5".

You saying the lights stick out farther than the light bar itself, which sticks out 3" ? From picture it looks like light don't stick our farther than the bar. Only higher than the bar.

Also, what brand or where you get the light bar?

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, its not a great image, but the bar w/ lights will add 5 inches to the overall length of your truck. KC makes a light called a slim light that would probably be flush w/ the bar. The manufacturer is Randy Ellis Designs.

Are those RMDL170s? I had those on my old Impreza and loved them! Especially with the yellow filters.

Yes, I like them. They have an adjustable beam that allows you to go from a spot beam to a flood beam simply by rotating the lens. Very functional. I am going to buy a set of blue lenses for driving in heavy snow.

$250 seems steep IMO. The N-fab one is only $150 shipped. Haven't seen photos of the F-150 specific version but it seems similar in design. Just another option for people who might be considering the same sort of thing.
