Hey guys,

Anyone know of a cheaper option for an exhaust tip than this cherry bomb?

$26 shipped for a 12" rolled slant cut clamp on. I'm looking for the cheapest rolled tip slant cut clamp on I can find that will fit my 2013 5.0 fx4. My plan is to paint it black so I don't care if its got a great finish. Or, if anyone has another suggestion I'd love to hear it. The fx4 is a great looking well finished truck.... Color mached bumpers and grill, sweet headlights, nice 20" wheels, running boards, leather seats.... Oh and an ugly @$$, plain old, unfinished pipe sticking out the back... Wtf ford?

Doesn't the 5.0 have a stock 3" exhaust? You could just paint the existing pipe black and cut a slant tip on it. As far as aftermarket tips go, that is very cheap. I don't think you'll find a better deal.

Or, you could just dump it after the rear axle. Then the pipe will be hidden. I'm considering doing this.

Why not something like this? Muffler shop can cut the pipe. Beforehand, remove the tip and paint w/ VHT flat black, then reinstall the tip, plus, hides the (IMO) gaudy tailpipe anyway...
